We are currently seeking a dedicated Grill Cook to join our team at the 401 W. Las Colinas Blvd. location in Irving, TX. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, offering a stable work schedule free of weekend shifts. Hourly compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00, reflecting the value Eurest places on culinary skills and employee contribution. The Grill Cook plays a vital role in delivering top-tier foodservice by preparing and serving grilled items efficiently and professionally. This position demands a candidate who brings previous grilling or culinary experience, ensuring food preparation meets safety, quality, and presentation standards.

The Grill Cook’s responsibilities include preparing grill menu items quickly and accurately, maintaining food quality and temperature, following approved recipes, and adhering to stringent food safety protocols. The role also involves direct customer interaction, requiring excellent communication skills to ensure a friendly and positive dining experience. The successful candidate must also maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area and operate safely within all regulatory guidelines. Job Requirements

  • Previous grilling or culinary experience
  • Ability to perform job duties including food preparation and customer service
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, no weekends
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must be able to work full time
  • Basic communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
  • Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
  • Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
  • Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Tastes all prepared food items
  • Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service
  • Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards
  • Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures
  • Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met
  • Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information and concerns to supervisor
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
