As a Grill Cook at our establishment, you will play an integral role in our culinary team, responsible for the preparation and cooking of a variety of grilled dishes that meet our high standards for taste and presentation. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in grilling and food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knife skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in grilling techniques
- Experience working in fine dining or high-volume kitchens is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with menu planning meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on dish preparation and ingredient needs
- Handle food safely including proper storage handling and sanitation procedures
- Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks such as chopping marinating and portioning ingredients
- Collaborate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
