The Grill Cook position at SodexoMagic represents an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to quality food preparation and customer satisfaction. This role is part-time with varying shifts, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $7.25 to $15.50. As a Grill Cook, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. This position emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and reducing food waste, ensuring a sustainable and efficient kitchen environment.

Working closely with fellow team members, you will contribute to creating nutritious and appealing dishes that enhance the dining experience for customers. The role also involves reading and measuring ingredients accurately according to recipes, operating grill stations, fryers, and other kitchen equipment, and maintaining a positive and proactive attitude throughout all work shifts. Punctuality and reliability are crucial, with an expectation to attend scheduled shifts consistently while delivering quality output.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and timely food preparation
