The role of Grill Cook at Sodexo, located at the TCC San Antonio site, is a full-time position offering an hourly wage of $18.22. This role is integral to the food service team, responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled food items with attention to quality and customer satisfaction. The Grill Cook works independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient food preparation while minimizing waste and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Job Duties

  • Work independently performing moderately difficult tasks in preparing small quantities of quickly prepared food such as steaks, chops, cutlets, hamburgers, eggs, salads, and other similar items
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Prepare and cook grilled food items efficiently and according to customer specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Minimize food waste through careful preparation and portion control
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned according to business necessities and client requirements
