Job Description

As a high-volume restaurant chain, Goode Company prides itself on quality preparation, premium ingredients, and a dedicated team that contributes to its ongoing success and excellent reputation in the hospitality industry. The company emphasizes a culture of pride, hard work, and consistency, recognizing that outstanding food and service result from these core values. In keeping with its commitment to excellence, Goode Company seeks to employ passionate individuals who are enthusiastic about cooking and maintaining high standards in the kitchen environment.
The role available is ideally suited for an outgoing individual who possesses a genuine passion for culinary arts and thrives in a dynamic kitchen atmosphere. This position requires excellent time management, organizational skills, and a strict adherence to cleanliness protocols to meet the restaurant’s exacting food quality standards. Employees will be working in a vibrant, high-energy setting where cooking over an open flame using Mesquite wood is a key aspect of the culinary process, requiring tolerance for working in a hot environment. This hands-on role involves preparing grill and prep items efficiently, managing food safety and handling procedures, and ensuring all dishes meet safety and quality guidelines before being served to customers. The position also demands teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to assist fellow cooks and kitchen staff as needed. Given the importance of hygiene and customer safety, responsibilities also include thorough washing and disinfecting of kitchen tools, equipment, and work areas.
Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen and be certified as a Food Handler or through TABC. Furthermore, they should possess the physical stamina to work for extended periods in standing and moving positions, coupled with the ability to work around heated equipment. This role is pivotal in maintaining the renowned standards and operational efficiency that define Goode Company Restaurants. Employees are rewarded not only with a competitive wage but also with benefits including food discounts, weekly pay, eligibility for comprehensive medical benefits after consistent full-time service, and access to wellness resources. Goode Company is an equal opportunity employer that values hard work and dedication, inviting applicants who meet qualifications and have a passion for culinary craftsmanship to join the team and contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.
