Located at Xavier University of Louisiana, SodexoMagic offers a part-time Grill Cook position with varying shifts and open availability preferred. The pay range for this role is between $15.40 and $23.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Grill Cook at SodexoMagic, you will play a vital role in the culinary team by accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. Your responsibilities will involve reading and measuring ingredients according to recipes, operating grill stations, fryers, and other kitchen equipment, and ensuring that each dish meets high standards of quality and presentation. Your dedication to reducing food waste and your warm, customer-focused attitude will help deliver an exceptional dining experience that brightens the day of those you serve.

- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station and operate grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
