The Grill Bartender position at Sage Lodge, part of the Columbia Hospitality family, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering inspired drinks and remarkable guest experiences. Nestled on more than a mile of Yellowstone riverfront and just 35 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, Sage Lodge blends the raw beauty of Montana Paradise Valley with distinctive Montana hospitality. The lodge offers 50 rustically elegant guestrooms and scenic views of the Montana horizon, with dining at the Fireside Room and revitalizing treatments at The Spa at Sage Lodge. This role is essential in creating connections through crafting cocktails and impressing guests with beverage expertise within an unmatched and expertly maintained atmosphere. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of drinks while ensuring compliance with applicable liquor laws and maintaining high standards of service and cash handling. Role responsibilities include utilizing the computerized Point of Sale system, standing for long periods, and adhering to safety and quality protocols. This role offers an hourly pay range of $13 to $14 depending on experience, with eligibility for tips and tip pooling, and payment offered daily. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit required
- Working knowledge of proper operation of bar equipment
- Ability to perform essential functions on computerized Point of Sale system
- Understanding of standard cash handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of related education, training and/or experience
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of drink preparation and service
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot computerized Point of Sale systems
- Current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit
- Familiarity with applicable liquor laws and cash handling procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve inspired cocktails to guests
- Maintain expert knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing techniques
- Operate and manage the computerized Point of Sale system
- Ensure compliance with all applicable liquor laws and regulations
- Follow standard cash handling procedures accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Deliver exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere
