Job Description

The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific represents an exceptional opportunity to be part of North County San Diego's first rooftop dining experience. This unique establishment offers breathtaking views combined with a vibrant dining atmosphere, making it a standout destination for locals and visitors alike. The Rooftop Bar specializes in Baja-inspired cuisine, emphasizing fresh, flavorful dishes that highlight the best of regional ingredients. Complementing the food menu is a full array of craft cocktails, featuring original recipes expertly crafted by a skilled team of mixologists. This fusion of culinary excellence and creative beverage offerings positions the Rooftop Bar as a premier spot for socializing, fine dining, and enjoying memorable moments.

As a member of the team at The Rooftop Bar, the greeter plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience from the moment patrons arrive. This hourly position, compensated at $18.50 per hour, is designed for individuals who take pride in hospitality and have a passion for creating warm, welcoming environments. The greeter is the face of the restaurant, responsible for making guests feel valued and appreciated right from the start. Responsibilities include greeting attendees with a friendly demeanor, managing table accommodations efficiently, and offering thoughtful menu recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Beyond these primary duties, greeters assist the broader team by performing essential support tasks such as rolling silverware, cleaning menus, and fluffing pillows, ensuring the space remains inviting and well-maintained.

Joining The Rooftop Bar team means entering a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are paramount. The establishment is part of Hyatt, a globally recognized hospitality company renowned for its commitment to staff development, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. Working under the Hyatt umbrella also provides employees with an impressive array of benefits and career growth opportunities, making this role not only a job but a platform for long-term professional advancement.

The Rooftop Bar is dedicated to inclusivity and equal opportunity, guaranteeing all qualified candidates fair consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. This commitment reflects the core values of Hyatt and promotes a diverse and supportive workplace culture.

In summary, this opportunity is best suited for individuals with a passion for hospitality, who thrive in vibrant social settings and are eager to contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
