Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with reservation systems is desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly and professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and a warm, approachable demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable or Resy is a plus
- Must have flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating using the restaurant's reservation system
- Provide accurate wait times and accommodate seating preferences when possible
- Escort guests to their tables and introduce the menu or evening’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations or general information about dishes or specials
- Monitor dining room flow and communicate seating needs with the service team
- Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
- Ensure a clean and organized host stand area at all times
