Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, is a leading location-based entertainment platform with over 360 locations throughout North America. The company specializes in delivering immersive and engaging experiences across various entertainment venues, including bowling alleys, amusement centers, water parks, and family entertainment centers. Beyond providing recreational activities, Lucky Strike Entertainment is also the proud owner of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), the major league of bowling recognized globally and attracting millions of fans. With an emphasis on creating vibrant social environments and unforgettable experiences, Lucky Strike Entertainment stands as a premier name in the entertainment industry, dedicated to innovation, customer satisfaction, and community engagement.

This particular opportunity is for the role of a Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant at one of Lucky Strike Entertainment’s dynamic locations. This part-time position is tailored for individuals who thrive in an energetic, customer-facing role where they can directly impact guests’ experiences by delivering exceptional service from the moment guests walk through the door. As the first point of contact, Greeters and Desk Attendants set the tone for the entertainment experience, ensuring that every visitor receives a warm welcome and efficient service.

As a Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant, your responsibilities revolve around managing guest interactions both in person and over the phone, maintaining waitlists, coordinating shoe and lane assignments, and preparing for leagues. You will operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, manage sales transactions, and uphold cash control procedures to ensure accurate and secure handling of payments. In addition, you will assist guests with basic bowling instructions, enhancing their enjoyment and confidence in the game.

The role also requires vigilance in monitoring equipment functionality, promptly alerting mechanics to any pinspotter or pinsetter malfunctions, and logging issues to facilitate timely repairs. The ability to operate various technological systems like central panels, computers, and the P/A system is integral to the smooth operation of the entertainment venue.

This position demands excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the capability to maintain composure and professionalism in a bustling, entertainment-focused environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, with prior hospitality or customer service experience considered beneficial but not mandatory. The role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $15 to $18, coupled with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage.

Work shifts primarily cover evening and night hours, with an emphasis on weekend availability, catering to the peak times for entertainment activities. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting, reflective of the dynamic and active nature of the work environment.

Lucky Strike Entertainment promotes a fun and rewarding workplace with perks such as free bowling, discounted arcade play, and significant savings on food and beverages. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality guest service in a lively entertainment setting, eager to become part of a renowned entertainment brand committed to excellence and innovation in guest experiences.
