The role of Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a part-time position ideally suited for individuals who enjoy creating a welcoming environment and engaging with guests. This position is vital as it sets the first impression of the venue, providing the much-anticipated "WOW" factor that guests look forward to. Responsibilities include greeting guests both in person and over the phone, managing waitlists, assigning lanes and equipment, processing sales transactions with adherence to cash control policies, and assisting with basic bowling instructions. Additionally, the Greeter/Desk Attendant monitors and reports any equipment malfunctions, ensuring smooth operations during guests' visits. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced entertainment setting.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol
- Ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift objects with assistance
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent restaurant or hospitality experience optional
- Proven success in school or previous job experience
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol
Job Duties
- Be friendly and inviting to guests in person and over the phone
- Manage the waitlist
- Track availability and assign lanes, shoes and other equipment
- Prepare for leagues
- Ring sales at the counter and follow cash control procedures
- Notify mechanics promptly of any pinspotter or pinsetter malfunctions and log these issues
- Assist guests with basic bowling instruction
- Operate POS system, central panel, computers, and P/A system
