Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull carts up to 250 lbs
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary workplace language

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Basic computational ability
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS systems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong issue resolution and analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome all hotel guests and customers
  • Escort guests to their tables and present the menu
  • Communicate with the wait staff and other restaurant personnel to ensure guest experience meets company standards
  • Perform a variety of duties including refilling beverages, setting tables, and cleaning eating/serving areas
  • Perform other duties in a team effort during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, preparing food for To-go areas, and maintaining table condiments
  • Perform all other responsibilities as directed by management
  • Assist with any guest inquiry
