The role of Greeter at Dave & Buster's plays a vital part in ensuring each guest's initial impression is positive and welcoming. This front-facing position involves greeting, guiding, and directing guests as they arrive, serving as the primary ambassador of the brand’s cheerful and energetic environment. The candidate must be adept at communicating the various experiences offered, including promotions, Power Card offerings, and social bays. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor, often delivering smiles and warm greetings that set the tone for memorable visits. Additionally, the Greeter will support other team members, assist with kiosk operations, maintain cleanliness in the lobby area, and help manage guest flow efficiently. Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distractions
Ability to read and write handwritten notes
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to move around the facility and stand for long periods
Ability to walk or stand for 100% of the shift
Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain friendly and approachable in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of computer operations or willingness to learn kiosk systems
Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
Capable of standing for long periods and moving around the facility
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Understanding of sanitation and safety protocols

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in a fun atmosphere
Keep immediate supervisor informed of issues and take corrective action when necessary
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to company sanitation procedures
Assess guest demeanor and alert management as needed
Provide a welcoming experience to each and every guest with friendliness and frequent smiles
Greet, guide, and direct all guests as they enter the building, managing guest flow efficiently
Maintain knowledge of current promotions and Power Card offerings and answer guest questions
Assist guests with self-serve kiosks for purchasing Power Cards, joining waitlists, or reserving social bays
Support the host team as needed
Ensure cleanliness and organization of lobby and front doors
Assist other team members as needed
Foster cooperating and positive working relationships with team members
Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
Articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to guests
Listen attentively to guest needs and communicate effectively with both guests and team members
Maintain proper dress code, looking neat, clean, and professional
