Job Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program
  • Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday in an outpatient clinic
  • Willingness to engage in continuous medical education and professional development

Job Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice in Maryland
  • Proven experience in internal medicine or primary care
  • Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to adult patients in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and support staff to deliver coordinated healthcare
  • Manage chronic and acute conditions following evidence-based guidelines
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory work
  • Refer patients to sub-specialists as appropriate and coordinate follow-up care
  • Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meet established performance metrics
