Job Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to work Monday through Friday in an outpatient clinic
- Willingness to engage in continuous medical education and professional development
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in Maryland
- Proven experience in internal medicine or primary care
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with primary care providers and support staff to deliver coordinated healthcare
- Manage chronic and acute conditions following evidence-based guidelines
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory work
- Refer patients to sub-specialists as appropriate and coordinate follow-up care
- Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meet established performance metrics
