Job Requirements

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
  • Maintain good financial and academic standing with the University
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings weekends nights and/or holidays up to 20 hours a week

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to memorize and recall recipes in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions and ask for clarification if needed
  • Availability to perform multiple tasks in a timely manner during shifts
  • Ability to learn and problem solve quickly

Job Duties

  • Provide quality made-to-order beverages in a timely manner while following all health safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by anticipating and exceeding customer needs
  • Follow operational policies and procedures including cash handling and drink making
  • Promote GCBC and GCU culture values and mission through daily actions
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment alongside other team members
  • Remain calm and professional during periods of high volume and stress
  • Communicate necessary information to Shift Leads and Managers
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance
