Other responsibilities include beverage refills, folding napkins, polishing silverware, supporting kitchen staff by expediting food service, and handling warehouse orders; all tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • Flexible to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk and reach overhead frequently during shifts
  • Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive hand motions and grasping
  • Ability to maintain vision including distance, depth perception, and color vision
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and ability to identify menu products
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to operate glassware washing machine and refill ice and beer bins
  • Knowledge of dish room procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
  • Basic reading, math, writing and task completion skills
  • Skills in compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making

Job Duties

  • Promptly welcome all guests and ensure they receive responsive, professional, and gracious service always
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately with urgency
  • Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and culinary staff to fulfill guest needs
  • Clear tables, clean tabletops/seating area, and take tableware to dish room
  • Assist servers in pre-bus and busing tables including wiping and setting tables
  • Help set up to-go/pick up area and deliver to-go orders to host desk
  • Refill beverages
  • Set and reset tables and side stations before, during and after service
  • Deliver food orders to tables
  • Ensure all machines are cleaned properly
  • Fold/roll napkins and keep silverware polished
  • Reset tables efficiently
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items
  • Assist kitchen in expediting service process
  • Maintain dining room cleanliness
  • Take, compile, deliver, and put away warehouse orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the position scope
