Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled and maintain satisfactory progress in one of the university's graduate programs
  • Advanced FAA certificates or ratings preferred such as flight, maintenance, and/or dispatch
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support operations at flight dispatch desk
  • Assist training in applied aviation simulator lab and monitor the sim lab for equipment maintenance and use
  • Assist with departmental recruitment outreach, career events, and presentations
  • Assist with data and information collection for departmental research projects
  • Work with department professors in updating instructional and other resource materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in Aviation and Transportation
