Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work up to 19 hours per week
  • Maintain domicile in the State of Texas during employment
  • Ability to work in a clean, organized, and inclusive environment

  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and kitchen duties
  • Availability to work at Highland Campus location

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen or barista outlet
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking capability
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of menu ingredients and preparation
  • Preferred experience with TOAST point of sale system

Job Duties

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snack items according to menu specifications
  • Ensure safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures are followed consistently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Grab N Go outlet and kitchen stations
  • Stock and prep mise en place to maintain readiness throughout service periods
  • Operate and manage transactions using the TOAST point of sale system
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure excellent timing and plate assembly during service
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately to deliver consistent food quality
