Job Description

Sam's Club, a subsidiary of Walmart Inc., is a leading membership-only retail warehouse club that offers high-quality merchandise, value, and convenience to its members. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, Sam's Club operates numerous warehouses across the United States and offers a broad range of products including groceries, electronics, household goods, and food services. Known for its commitment to innovation, efficiency, and community involvement, Sam's Club has positioned itself as an essential destination for both individual consumers and businesses seeking savings on bulk purchases and quality products. The company emphasizes a collaborative work environment where associates are encouraged to grow both professionally and personally while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

This open position at Sam's Club located in Bentonville, AR, is for a dependable and service-oriented individual to join the food services team. This role is integral in ensuring that all food-related operations maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food quality, and customer satisfaction. The position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $28.00 per hour, with additional compensation possible through performance-based bonuses and premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

The Food Services team at Sam's Club is dedicated to creating an exceptional dining experience for guests by preparing thoughtfully crafted dishes that are flavorful and varied. Team members are expected to embody the company’s vision and values by delivering warm, welcoming customer service and fostering a positive, energetic work environment. In this role, the individual will be responsible for food preparation and cooking using standard recipes and techniques such as baking, chopping, and grilling. They will also operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensure proper ingredient preparation, rotate inventory, and uphold food safety standards through regular temperature checks, proper labeling, and sanitation practices.

Joining this team means becoming part of a culture that values collaboration, efficiency, and hospitality. Employees will be expected to bring strong initiative, work independently without constant supervision, and communicate effectively within a team to meet the fast-paced demands of high-volume cooking environments. Physical stamina is also important, as the role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Sam's Club supports its employees through a range of extensive benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) plans, stock purchase opportunities, company-paid life insurance, and generous paid time off programs covering vacation, parental leave, family care, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave. Additional benefits include short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and educational opportunities through the Live Better U program which fully funds education from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees and more.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in professional cooking, food preparation, and catering to join a reputable company that values work-life balance, employee well-being, and career development.
