Job Duties
- fulfill opening and closing tasks such as organizing provisions and necessary instruments
- clean all equipment and areas
- lock doors
- organize, stock and maintain work areas
- enter orders into the register system and receive customer payments
- take orders, enter them into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off at correct times
- clean tables and coffee cart areas
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
- secure change for expected transaction levels
- balance cash at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, issue receipts and secure cash
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- complete safety trainings and certifications
- ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional
- maintain confidentiality of company information and protect assets
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- support team to achieve common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, drag and place objects under 25 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit or walk for extended periods or entire shifts
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- inspect tools, equipment or machines for defects
- grasp, turn and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees, crouch, twist waist, drag and bend
- navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
- ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- speak clearly and professionally
- answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette
- perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
