Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous apprentice bartending experience
- must have 1 year of customer service experience
- working knowledge of spirits, wine and food
- working knowledge of liquor dispensing guns
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to lead and mentor a team
- must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
- professional appearance and demeanor
- work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- high school diploma or equivalent
- able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
- must be able to lift 50 lbs
- must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- must have the ability to work indoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.

Job Duties
- Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order
- greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
- maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar
- stock the bar with necessary supplies for service
- complete opening side duties including checking bar stock quality and quantity, setting up bottles and speed rail, ensuring cleanliness of tools, checking refrigeration and glass washing units
- assist bartenders in service execution and follow their directions
- refill ice coolers, garnish trays, straws, and napkins
- perform all opening and closing duties as assigned
- bid farewell to guests using their names when known and encourage return visits
- anticipate guests' needs and respond with urgency
- work as a team to assist guests and employees with inquiries
- communicate effectively with management, bartenders, and service staff to resolve issues
- follow company and departmental policies and health and safety regulations
- mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes
- clean glassware thoroughly
- document designated items on spill sheets legibly
- ensure maximum usage of supplies to meet budgeted beverage costs and prevent waste
- use chemicals in compliance with OSHA regulations and hotel standards
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
- recognize and address intoxicated guests responsibly
- monitor disruptive guests and alert management
- refuse alcohol service to intoxicated guests respectfully
- accurately check guest identification
- comply with all safety, health, and liquor laws and policies.
