Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old at time of application
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • retail experience preferred but not required
  • must possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and maintain during incumbency, with acceptable driving record

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the game of golf, golf equipment, and desire to work in the golf industry
  • knowledge of basic math associated with currency exchange
  • skill in communicating effectively with guests and co-workers
  • skill in basic usage of Microsoft Office
  • ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
  • ability to observe and recognize safety precautions
  • ability to perform a variety of clubhouse related tasks
  • ability to operate cash register and handle money with accuracy
  • ability to work independently and under pressure
  • ability to work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment

Job Duties

  • Answers phones and schedules tee times
  • operates cash register and tee sheet system
  • assists in receiving, stocking, and selling merchandise
  • answers guests' questions regarding golf events, coupons, and other specials
  • monitors and reports guests' pace of play
  • assists with golf outings
  • performs golf club repairs and spike changes
  • opens and closes golf shop
  • supervises and assists outside service and player support staff
  • performs other duties as required or assigned
