Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old at time of application
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- retail experience preferred but not required
- must possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and maintain during incumbency, with acceptable driving record
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of the game of golf, golf equipment, and desire to work in the golf industry
- knowledge of basic math associated with currency exchange
- skill in communicating effectively with guests and co-workers
- skill in basic usage of Microsoft Office
- ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
- ability to observe and recognize safety precautions
- ability to perform a variety of clubhouse related tasks
- ability to operate cash register and handle money with accuracy
- ability to work independently and under pressure
- ability to work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment
Job Duties
- Answers phones and schedules tee times
- operates cash register and tee sheet system
- assists in receiving, stocking, and selling merchandise
- answers guests' questions regarding golf events, coupons, and other specials
- monitors and reports guests' pace of play
- assists with golf outings
- performs golf club repairs and spike changes
- opens and closes golf shop
- supervises and assists outside service and player support staff
- performs other duties as required or assigned
