Job Description

The hiring establishment is a reputable golf club that prides itself on delivering a premier experience to its members and guests. As a well-regarded venue featuring an extensive golf course and an inviting clubhouse, this club offers a range of amenities designed to cater to golf enthusiasts and social visitors alike. The club fosters a welcoming and professional environment where exceptional service and member satisfaction are paramount. The team at this golf club is dedicated to maintaining high standards in hospitality, food, beverage service, and facility management to create a memorable and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone who visits.

The role available is for Golf Wait Staff, focusing on beverage cart and clubhouse service. This position is crucial in delivering high-quality, attentive service both on the golf course and within the clubhouse setting. The Golf Wait Staff are responsible for greeting and serving members and guests professionally while ensuring that food and beverage orders are taken accurately and delivered promptly. Operating the beverage cart safely and maintaining its stock and cleanliness are essential components of this role. The position demands a proactive approach in monitoring the needs of guests and responding swiftly to their requests to ensure an overall positive experience.

In addition to direct service on the course, the Golf Wait Staff also play an important role in upholding cleanliness and presentation standards within the clubhouse. This includes setting up dining areas, maintaining beverage stations, and supporting special events such as banquets and tournaments. Adherence to all applicable alcohol service laws and club policies, including Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regulations, is mandatory to ensure compliance and safety. The job requires a friendly and outgoing personality, strong customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods, lift and carry weights up to 25 pounds, and safely operate a golf cart. The position involves working in varying weather conditions as service takes place both indoors and outdoors. Reliable transportation is necessary, along with weekend and holiday availability to meet the club's scheduling needs. While prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality is preferred, it is not mandatory, as training and certification opportunities may be provided.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic, service-oriented position within a prestigious golf setting, where they can engage with guests, contribute to a positive club atmosphere, and develop their hospitality skills. Employment type and salary details can be provided upon inquiry, typically reflecting part-time or seasonal schedules aligned with club operations.
