Job Description
The MPCC (Mountain Park Country Club) is a distinguished private club that offers an exceptional golfing experience complemented by impeccable hospitality. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the club prides itself on providing an exclusive and high-quality environment for its members and guests. The club features well-maintained golf courses, a refined clubhouse, and a variety of upscale facilities designed to cater to the leisure and social needs of its members. Known for its dedication to excellence, MPCC emphasizes outstanding customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, and meticulous attention to detail, making it a premier destination for golf enthusiasts and social gatherings alike.
The Golf Course Hospitality Attendant role at MPCC is central to maintaining the club's renowned service standards by offering high-quality food and beverage service directly on the golf course. This position focuses on enhancing the overall member and guest experience by delivering prompt and courteous service throughout the golf round. Responsibilities include greeting members and their guests with warmth and professionalism, processing orders accurately using the POS system, and delivering food and beverages on the course efficiently to support the pace of play. The attendant also liaises between golfers and the clubhouse bar, ensuring all orders are handled smoothly and members receive exceptional attention.
This role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of food and beverage service, bartending skills, and the ability to maintain a polished and professional appearance that aligns with the club's standards. In addition to course-side service, the attendant assists with overall food and beverage operations within the club, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude. Working conditions include exposure to outdoor weather, requiring the ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from cold winters to warm summers. Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, moving throughout the club property, and occasional lifting.
Candidates for this role must bring at least one year of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant or similar environment, with private club or resort experience preferred. Certifications such as Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) are mandatory within 30 days of hire, with a Level One Sommelier certification considered a plus. The club is committed to promoting a safe, respectful, and professional working environment, expecting its staff to adhere to strict codes of conduct and safe practices.
Being part of the MPCC team means contributing to an elite hospitality setting where every detail matters, and member satisfaction is the highest priority. If you are passionate about providing exemplary service, enjoy working in a dynamic outdoor environment, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality role, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to advance your career within a prestigious private club setting.
