Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • one year bartending experience
  • ability to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
  • knowledge of public health regulations
  • ability to operate cash register and handle cash accurately
  • ability to adhere to Colorado liquor laws
  • capable of food preparation and portion control
  • must complete state liquor training
  • ability to work flexible hours including events
  • physical ability to perform tasks such as setting up and cleaning
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • One year bartending experience
  • knowledge of alcoholic beverage preparation
  • basic knowledge of food preparation and public health regulations
  • skill in operating relevant equipment and mixing drinks
  • ability to enforce codes tactfully
  • communication and teamwork skills
  • gastropub or golf course experience preferred
  • training in state liquor laws within four weeks of hire
  • public health certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Make alcoholic beverages according to prescribed recipes
  • provide prompt, courteous service to all guests
  • deliver food prepared by the kitchen to patrons in the clubhouse and on the patio
  • assist in food inventory control, ordering, receiving and stocking food and supplies
  • cook food according to established recipes and prepare daily specials and special event foods
  • control portion sizes, spoilage, and waste and maintain food quality and presentation
  • keep kitchen, food prep areas, coolers, and freezers clean and rotated properly
  • manage beverage inventory control, ordering and stocking of beverages and supplies
  • set up, stock and break down bar area daily
  • clean dining room and patio eating areas and equipment
  • enforce all Colorado liquor laws and practice food safety procedures
  • record and collect monies for food and beverages
  • verify cash register at beginning and end of shift
  • conduct annual physical inventory of bar items
