This location captures the essence of Seattle's blend of urban sophistication and outdoor adventure, making it an inspiring place to both work and visit.
The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager for Goldfinch Tavern, its acclaimed in-house dining establishment. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on experience, and requires candidates to have valid U.S. work authorization. The Restaurant General Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the daily operations of Goldfinch Tavern, ensuring the delivery of award-winning service, and that both guests and team members enjoy an exceptional dining environment.
The General Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated team by selecting, training, evaluating, and motivating staff to maintain the brand’s core standards and cultural values. They will manage the operational aspects including labor scheduling, cost control, purchasing, inventory, and cash flow management. Visibility on the floor and immediate response to guest feedback will be critical components to promote excellent customer relations and resolve any issues effectively. Additionally, the GM will oversee the quality assurance of all food and beverage offerings, ensuring that preparation and presentation meet four-star standards while promoting an extensive knowledge of wine and spirits.
This leadership role demands an individual with keen business acumen, a hands-on approach, and excellent interpersonal skills who can build a high-performing team while maintaining operational excellence. The position works closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and requires active participation in cross-departmental coordination to maintain seamless hotel services.
