Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record
- previous experience working in a hotel setting
- must have or obtain all required work cards
- manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
- must be able to stand during entire shift
- able to park and retrieve guest cars without causing damage
- able to work in noisy environment that may contain secondhand smoke
- able to perform tasks including standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping
- constant contact with team members and guests
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and management in both written and verbal form
- ability to communicate in English
- proficient in computer applications
Job Duties
- Practice, support, and promote the company service standards at all times
- demonstrate attention to detail and complete assignment accurately
- deliver high levels of guest service
- follow instructions provided in both written and verbal form
- maintain high attention to detail and workplace safety
- work self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- assist guests in a prompt courteous manner
- maintain communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments
- have thorough knowledge of garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways
- keep track of how many vehicles come in
- safely park and return guest vehicles professionally
- verify valet tickets have been completed properly
- check that vehicles are secure and report issues
- monitor and direct vehicle traffic on property
- provide daily direction to valet staff
