The Global Website Product Owner role at Komatsu is integral to a significant global initiative aimed at transforming Komatsu's digital presence by re-platforming its various websites onto the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. This role is hybrid and based out of Chicago, Illinois, or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, offering a salary range typically between $103,000 and $128,800 depending on experience and location. The successful candidate will serve as the central figure in orchestrating this transformation, delivering a world-class, consistent online experience that aligns closely with Komatsu's business objectives.
As the Global Website Product Owner, you will be responsible for analyzing website functionalities, gathering and translating requirements from multiple regional business teams, and ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders, IT departments, digital marketing groups, and vendors. Your foundational expertise in business goals, digital channels, and proficiency with Adobe AEM capabilities will be critical in executing the website re-build and migration process. You will manage and prioritize requirements backlogs, develop detailed project and migration plans, and facilitate change management. This includes hosting discovery sessions, reviewing and validating user experience designs, documenting process flows, and driving technical integrations that enhance the customer journey online.
Effective communication skills are essential, as you will translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for diverse audiences and manage stakeholder expectations across different regions, including Europe and Asia. The role emphasizes flexibility, with meetings accommodating multiple time zones. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- Minimum 5 years website management experience in B2B and B2C marketing departments
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with content management systems and digital asset management systems preferably Adobe Experience Manager
- Experience implementing on-site personalization based on user profile settings
- Experience implementing A/B testing
- Experience with website analytics and reporting
- Experience building lead generation processes from lead capture to opportunity management
- Experience working with international marketing teams
- Familiar with UX best practices, landing page creation, responsive design, and mobile-first layouts
- Familiar with usability testing practices and methodologies
- Familiar with HTML/CSS
- Excellent project management and communication skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage and drive the migration of Komatsu websites onto Adobe AEM CMS and DAM
- Host discovery sessions and interviews with regional teams to understand website functionality
- Analyze existing website functionality, UX, and technical architecture to identify gaps, risks, and improvements
- Review wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with UX/UI designers to ensure alignment with business needs
- Map and document current and future business processes, data flows, and system integrations
- Maintain and manage a prioritized requirements backlog with clear traceability
- Organize backlog grooming meetings with development teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Write UAT plans and QA completed development work to ensure alignment with business needs
- Support User Acceptance Testing including planning, coordinating, and managing defect resolution
- Communicate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate consensus among conflicting priorities
- Develop detailed website migration project plans, timelines, and change management strategies
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Adobe AEM CMS and DAM
- Drive alignment on information and content architecture across websites including taxonomy and meta tag schema
- Guide integrations between Komatsu source systems to support online experience delivery
- Prepare and host regular progress and KPI reports
- Work flexible hours to accommodate European and Asia time zones
