Job Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial glass and glazing estimating
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- proven proficiency in reading architectural plans and managing bid documents
- strong computer literacy with experience in estimating software and digital communication tools
- demonstrated history of building and maintaining professional relationships within the construction industry

- experience managing a pipeline of bids and coordinating with field operations for project handoffs
Job Duties
- execute precise takeoffs for storefront curtainwall and specialty glass systems using digital tools
- formulate competitive bid proposals by interpreting complex architectural drawings and project specifications
- cultivate and expand relationships with general contractors to identify new project opportunities and secure awards
- negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure material pricing aligns with project budgets and profit goals
- evaluate project risk factors and scope gaps to protect company margins during the preconstruction phase
- track bid results and refine estimating workflows to improve the company’s overall project hit rate
- collaborate with leadership to develop long-term growth strategies for the commercial glass division
