Job Description

LB Contract Supply is a dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in the construction supply and installation market, with a particular focus on high-end commercial interiors. Renowned for delivering exceptional quality and innovative solutions, the company has built a reputation for excellence in the commercial millwork, carpentry, and interiors sectors. LB Contract Supply’s commitment to fostering a family-friendly and supportive work environment encourages high-performing team members to advance quickly into leadership roles. This culture of growth, combined with the company’s dedication to equal opportunity and diversity, makes it a sought-after employer for professionals in the construction industry. With offices offering hybrid working options in Madison, Wisconsin, and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, LB Contract Supply embraces flexibility to support its workforce. The company’s transparent and competitive compensation packages, paired with professional development opportunities, underline its investment in employee success and satisfaction.

The Glass Estimator role at LB Contract Supply is a key position within the Project Management division that focuses on driving revenue growth and leading the glazing division. This full-time role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses tied to revenue and profit targets, reflecting the value and impact this position brings to the company. Scheduled from Monday to Friday, the role involves working on commercial projects related to millwork, carpentry, and interiors, with no mandatory licenses or certifications required, though industry expertise is essential.

As a Glass Estimator, you will utilize your deep understanding of commercial glass and glazing systems to perform detailed takeoffs on storefronts, curtainwalls, and specialty glass systems using advanced digital tools like Bluebeam. You will interpret complex architectural drawings and create competitive bid proposals that align with project specifications and budget expectations. Building and nurturing strong relationships with General Contractors will be a fundamental part of your responsibilities, as these relationships are crucial to securing new projects and expanding the company’s commercial glazing portfolio.

Additionally, the role involves negotiating material pricing with vendors and subcontractors to maintain cost-effectiveness and profitability while closely evaluating project risks and scope gaps during the preconstruction phase to protect company margins. Tracking bid results, refining estimating workflows, and collaborating with leadership on long-term strategies will enable you to contribute significantly to the division’s sustained success and growth. This role provides a clear career path toward a Division Manager position, allowing you to take on greater responsibility for shaping bidding strategies and leading a team of professionals.

Overall, this opportunity is ideal for experienced commercial glass estimators looking to leverage their skills in a thriving company that values professional growth, offers comprehensive benefits, and provides a supportive work environment conducive to long-term career advancement.
