LB Contract Supply is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company specializing in the construction supply and installation market, focusing on high-end commercial interiors. Known for its innovative approach and family-friendly work environment, LB Contract Supply fosters rapid career growth, promoting high-performing team members into leadership roles swiftly. With a strong commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment, the company values inclusive hiring practices and ensures decisions are job-related and equitable. Founded with a vision to deliver excellence in commercial millwork, carpentry, and interior projects, LB Contract Supply has positioned itself as a trusted partner in the construction industry, serving clients primarily in commercial sectors across regions including Madison, WI, and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
The Glass Estimator role at LB Contract Supply is a pivotal position within the Project Management division, focused on driving revenue growth and leading the commercial glazing segment. This full-time opportunity offers a hybrid work environment based in Madison, WI, or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, with a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses tied to revenue and profit targets. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, emphasizing commercial projects encompassing millwork, carpentry, and interiors.
As a Glass Estimator, you will leverage your expertise in commercial glass and glazing to secure high-value contracts, playing an essential role in shaping the company’s bidding strategy. Your responsibilities will include executing precise takeoffs for storefronts, curtain walls, and specialty glass systems using digital tools like Bluebeam. You will formulate competitive bid proposals by interpreting complex architectural drawings and project specifications with accuracy and insight.
This position demands proactive relationship-building with General Contractors to expand project opportunities and secure awards, alongside negotiating with vendors and subcontractors to maintain material pricing that aligns with budgetary and profit expectations. Further, you will evaluate project risk factors and scope gaps during the preconstruction phase to safeguard company margins, track bid outcomes to optimize estimating workflows, and collaborate closely with leadership to chart long-term growth strategies for the glazing division.
LB Contract Supply offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, professional development programs, tech resources, retirement savings, and wellness reimbursements. This role is ideal for experienced professionals seeking to advance into a Division Manager role, with access to supportive training, certifications, and leadership development opportunities. Join LB Contract Supply to contribute meaningfully to a growing company's trajectory while advancing your career in the commercial glazing and construction industry.
