Founded in Texas, Buc-ee's has become a cultural icon recognized for its unparalleled customer service, a wide array of high-quality products, and its uniquely clean and well-maintained stores. With plans to expand and open new locations, including the upcoming San Marcos, Texas store set to open in late Spring 2026, the company is rapidly growing and looking for dynamic individuals to join its team. Buc-ee's offers not just jobs but careers with the promise of advancement, competitive salaries, and comprehensive benefits, embodying a corporate culture that values its employees as much as its customers.
The role of Gift/Merchandise Manager at Buc-ee's is a pivotal position focused on ensuring the retail merchandise department operates smoothly and effectively. This role is perfect for someone passionate about merchandising and fashion, looking to lead and inspire a team while managing the product lifecycle from vendor to customer display. The manager will be responsible for maintaining the quality and availability of gift products, which are essential to Buc-ee's brand identity and appeal. Beyond day-to-day management, the role includes developing a high-performance team, delivering on customer satisfaction goals, and managing financial objectives related to product offerings and inventory.
The Gift/Merchandise Manager leads both warehouse and sales floor teams, ensuring that merchandise is not only visually appealing but also aligns with Buc-ee's standards for cleanliness, stock levels, and customer experience. Responsibilities include training staff across various competencies such as customer service excellence, product management, and financial attainment. This role demands a hands-on leader who can effectively schedule staff, manage labor costs, and ensure compliance with company policies. The manager must also be adept at using point of sale and transaction technologies to handle inventory and supplier communications.
This position offers a salary of $125,000 and benefits including three weeks of paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401k plan with 100% company match up to 6%. Buc-ee's promotes a workplace environment where employees can thrive, gain recognition, and grow their careers within a supportive and expanding company. If you are a retail management professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a well-loved brand with a robust presence and exciting growth plans, Buc-ee's Gift/Merchandise Manager role is an excellent fit.
