Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1-2 years related experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills preferred
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to work part-time 20 hours per week
Availability to float between Good Samaritan and Union Memorial Hospital
Willingness to work day and evening shifts with rotating weekends

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of related experience
Verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills preferred

Job Duties

Closes out cash register and completes daily worksheet at end of shift
Validates deposits and secures cash drawers and keys
Prepares payroll deduction log for delivery to PFS
Adheres to department policies, procedures, quality and safety standards
Maintains shop security and monitors for shoplifting
Operates cash register accurately handling cash, charge, and payroll deductions
Provides excellent customer service with a helpful and positive attitude
Takes ownership of designated shop departments including display, inventory, ordering, and pricing
Prepares dining area before and after meals including cleaning and ensuring appearance
Stocks assigned areas
Participates in safety meetings and training sessions
Assists in verifying non-cash transactions and operating peripheral equipment
