Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- basic computer literacy required
- ability to handle money accurately
- strong interpersonal skills
- availability to work Monday through Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm and additional hours as needed
- ability to operate a helium tank safely
- physical ability to stock merchandise and maintain displays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service and sales desired
- knowledge of operating a cash register and making change
- ability to provide work direction to volunteers
- proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Greet all customers
- sell merchandise and operate cash register
- manage inventory including check-in of freight and pricing
- assist customers and deliver gifts to patient/resident rooms
- open and close the gift shop
- operate helium tank
- maintain visual merchandising displays and keep gift shop clean
