Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and food preparation tasks
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Strong hospitality and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude with a "Yes is the Answer!" mentality
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Basic food preparation skills

Job Duties

  • Properly wash and store all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small kitchen equipment
  • Assist in portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as requested
  • Maintain the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner
  • Clean dining room, lavatories, and common areas
  • Meet company quality standards
  • Report to work on time and maintain uniform and personal hygiene
  • Exemplify hospitality standards and handle guest inquiries and complaints
  • Cooperate with management and coworkers and communicate suggestions for improvement
  • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
  • Know emergency procedures
  • Perform all duties according to associate handbook standards
