The General Manager role at Century Golf Partners Management LLC is a pivotal leadership position entrusted with overseeing all aspects of club operation, including golf services, food and beverage, facilities management, membership engagement, and financial planning. This full-time role combines strategic vision with hands-on management, requiring the individual to be a visible and accessible presence within the club community. Acting as the primary ambassador of the Club, the General Manager will cultivate strong relationships with members, staff, and community partners, fostering a culture of hospitality, inclusion, and excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in management, business administration, or related fields, coupled with three to five years of private club management experience and a robust background in hospitality sectors such as golf course or sports management. Proficiency in financial oversight, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and capital project financing, is essential. The General Manager will also lead human resources initiatives, oversee building and facility maintenance, and implement continuous improvement strategies aimed at enhancing member satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

As the leader responsible for the club’s strategic planning and advancement, the General Manager will partner with the Board of Directors to develop and execute long-term goals, response strategies, and capital improvements. Job Duties

  • Serve as the Club’s primary ambassador maintaining a highly visible presence across the golf course clubhouse practice facilities and events
  • Build strong authentic relationships with members guests and community partners
  • Foster a culture of hospitality inclusion and belonging reflecting the Club’s values
  • Lead member communication with clarity transparency and warmth
  • Represent the Club at community events golf associations and industry gatherings
  • Serve as liaison with civic organizations to maintain cordial community relations
  • Oversee all Club operations including golf food and beverage agronomy facilities events and member services
  • Develop and manage annual budgets financial forecasts and capital plans
  • Ensure operational efficiency cost control and long-term financial sustainability
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory safety and industry standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality and member satisfaction
  • Implement and monitor budgets monitor quality of club products and services ensure maximum value to members
  • Secure and protect club assets including facilities and equipment
  • Monitor operation of golf program including teaching scheduling tournaments locker rooms driving range cart rentals and pro shop facility
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop short- and long-term plans and budgets presenting proposals for approval
  • Recruit train and mentor a high-performing team across all departments
  • Cultivate a positive collaborative workplace culture built on respect accountability and growth
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for emerging leaders
  • Set clear performance expectations conduct regular evaluations
  • Maintain sound relationships between team members and customers members addressing complaints and suggestions
  • Partner with the Board of Directors Ownership to develop and execute long-term strategic plans
  • Lead capital improvement projects and facility enhancements
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the Club’s brand reputation and competitive position
  • Drive innovation in programming member engagement and operational practices
  • Maintain positive relationships with members Board guests employees community government and industry
  • Coordinate and administer club policies as defined by the Board
  • Guide and assist the Board in developing long- and short-range objectives goals policies and programs
  • Develop operating policies and procedures and delegate goals to department managers
  • Direct upkeep and repair of all facility buildings
  • Assist with long-range plans for facility improvements
  • Define recommend and control operating and financial objectives
  • Develop and administer strategic long-range and annual organizational and business plans
