Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field with 8 years experience
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field with 6 years experience
  • Proven management experience in hotel operations, sales, marketing, finance, or accounting
  • Preferred general manager experience in limited or full-service property
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Experience showing career growth and exceptional performance in the hospitality industry

Job Duties

  • Develop business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share
  • Execute business plans aligned with Marriott global strategies
  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the team
  • Manage talent development and coach the executive committee
  • Analyze business information to inform operational decisions
  • Foster positive employee and labor relations
  • Work with revenue management to optimize pricing and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong owner relations through communication and reporting
  • Engage with guests and the local community to enhance service and brand presence
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards
