Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field with 8 years experience
- OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related field with 6 years experience
- Proven management experience in hotel operations, sales, marketing, finance, or accounting
- Preferred general manager experience in limited or full-service property
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Experience showing career growth and exceptional performance in the hospitality industry
Job Duties
- Develop business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share
- Execute business plans aligned with Marriott global strategies
- Lead sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the team
- Manage talent development and coach the executive committee
- Analyze business information to inform operational decisions
- Foster positive employee and labor relations
- Work with revenue management to optimize pricing and revenue
- Build and maintain strong owner relations through communication and reporting
- Engage with guests and the local community to enhance service and brand presence
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards
