Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years restaurant management experience
  • Experience running shifts without supervision
  • Ability to work a minimum 5 day workweek with 4 closing shifts including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation laws
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work autonomously
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems
  • Problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
  • Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred
  • Minimum of two years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR
  • Experience running shifts without supervision
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
  • Knowledge of labor laws and health and sanitation regulations
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work autonomously
  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Decision-making and conflict-resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew, team members, carhops and skating carhops
  • Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards
  • Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices
  • Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
  • Prepares employee work schedules and monitors staffing levels
  • Monitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels and places orders within cost control procedures
  • Completes and maintains employment and payroll records
  • Reinforces customer service mentality and ensures employee focus on customer service
  • Resolves guest requests and reports complaints to supervisors
  • Interviews and hires restaurant crew and management team members
  • Prepares operational reports and develops action plans to resolve financial or sales trends
  • Develops and implements marketing plans
