Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years restaurant management experience
- Must be available to work a minimum five-day workweek including nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Effective communication skills
- Basic accounting and computer proficiency
- Ability to multitask and solve problems
- Willingness to comply with appearance and hygiene standards at SONIC
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred
- Minimum of two years restaurant management experience, preferably in quick service restaurants
- Experience running shifts without supervision
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and health regulations
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting and computer skills
- Ability to follow directions and work autonomously
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
Job Duties
- Manage, train, monitor, and coach crew, team members, carhops, and skating carhops
- Direct and assign drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all food service meets operational standards
- Adhere to and monitor employee compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices
- Perform restaurant opening and closing duties
- Prepare employee work schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed
- Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels, placing orders within cost control procedures
- Complete and maintain employment-related records and payroll
- Reinforce a customer service mentality and focus employees on serving customers
- Resolve guest requests and complaints promptly and respectfully
- Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members
- Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to resolve financial or sales issues
- Develop and implement marketing plans
