The position of General Manager QSR at Applegreen USA entails managing the overall operations and profitability of a quick service restaurant located inside one of its travel plazas. This dynamic role is critical to the success of the food and beverage concept housed within these highly trafficked highway locations. The General Manager is responsible for leading a dedicated team that strives to meet or exceed the targeted financial, operational, and performance goals. Key duties include overseeing daily activities to ensure operational excellence in sales, customer satisfaction, speed of service, brand standards, and food quality and safety. This role is vital for maintaining optimal staffing levels through recruitment, development, retention, and management of team members, and fostering a positive workplace culture that emphasizes learning, recognition, and growth.

Additionally, the General ManagerQ SR manages budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, reporting, and compliance with legal regulations and company policies. They play a crucial role in addressing customer issues promptly and professionally, thereby enhancing long-term customer relationships. Collaboration is a core aspect of this role, requiring regular interaction with brand partners, human resources, loss prevention, finance, and facilities management to ensure seamless operations. With a focus on community involvement and vendor management, this position demands a leader who is adaptable, proactive, and passionately committed to excellence in a fast-paced environment. Essential experience includes team management, multitasking, problem solving, and proficiency in computer skills, with ServSafe certification preferred.
