The Patina Group at Delaware North is currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the team at Space 220 located in Orlando, Florida. Space 220 is a high-volume upscale dining experience themed as an intergalactic restaurant, offering guests a unique perspective with stunning views and an elevated gourmet menu. It recreates the ambiance of dining in the International Space Station, suspended 220 miles above Earth’s surface. Working at Space 220 means being part of a cutting-edge, extraordinary restaurant concept where excellence is the standard.
This full-time leadership role demands a proven leader with strong financial acumen and operational expertise to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations while maintaining remarkable guest experiences. The General Manager will drive business results by managing budgets, expenses, and profit and loss statements alongside fostering a culture of excellence and superior customer service among the front and back-of-house teams. This role requires an individual with impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and training staff at all levels while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Compensation for this role ranges between $104,100 and $140,500 annually, with additional earning opportunities through an annual performance-based bonus plan and an uncapped sales incentive plan. You will be responsible for workforce scheduling, operational logistics, staff development, sales and labor management, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience managing high-volume upscale full-service restaurants or similar food and beverage establishments.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in restaurant management
- Strong financial acumen and computer proficiency
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale systems
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to train and lead a team
- ServSafe or Food Safety Handler certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a general manager in upscale high volume full-service restaurant, hotel, or food and beverage location
- Strong financial and computer skills with experience in P&L management, service and labor cost budget monitoring
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite, point of sale systems, and digital reservation systems
- ServSafe or Food Safety Handler certification preferred but not mandatory
- No degree required
Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations with focus on guest satisfaction
- Review financial statements and performance data to measure productivity and identify cost reduction areas
- Carry out administrative duties including scheduling, workforce planning, training, sales tracking, labor tracking, petty cash, deposits, inventories, ordering, account payables and receivables, and P&L accounting
- Establish standard operating procedures for supervising, inspiring, and motivating front-of-house team members
- Oversee standard operating procedures for both front and back of house including food and menu specifications, food handling, safety compliance, receiving, and storage procedures
- Train and develop managers and staff
