Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business hospitality management or similar field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers team members and the community both orally and in writing
- Knowledgeable of general POS functionality
- Experience with OSHA EEOC and other federal and state laws and local statutes
- ServSafe Certification
Job Duties
- Enthusiastically hire develop and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle
- Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement Daily Business Review Cash and Deposit Log and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence
- Maintain relationships with suppliers including inventory management and shipments
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators to identify problems concerns and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly
- Manage cash activities for the store such as daily deposits
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times and that all Team Members are in compliance as well
- Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision
- Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards
- Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards
- Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs as well as finding new creative and effective methods of recognition
- Collaborate with Smoothie King professionals from Operations Training Human Resources and Marketing to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community
