Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 4-5 years of food service, QSR, or retail experience
  • At least 2-3 years of management experience
  • Proficiency with Toast POS system
  • Open availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work up to 50 hours per week
  • Capability to lift or push 25-50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts, with some locations requiring stair navigation
  • Proficient communication in English, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Department of Health certification and applicable regional food handler certifications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 4-5 years of food service, quick service restaurant, or retail experience
  • At least 2-3 years of people management experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Toast POS system
  • Proven leadership in fast-paced retail or food environments

  • Financial acumen to manage budgets and P&L statements
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Job Duties

  • Display effective leadership focused on team dynamics, motivation, and conflict resolution
  • Model diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in bakery operations
  • Resolve conflicts and manage difficult conversations with staff
  • Assess and coach team member performance regularly
  • Demonstrate and coach exceptional customer service skills
  • Build strong relationships with customers to enhance community connection
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints efficiently
  • Manage bakery budget including profit and loss analysis
  • Maintain high standards for product quality and operational excellence
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in all order fulfillment including third-party deliveries
  • Handle cash reconciliations, payroll processes, and inventory management
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue and reduce costs
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with suppliers and community organizations
