Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Eight or more years of related management experience
- Financial experience including P&L responsibility, budgetary oversight, and contract management
- Construction and major contract bidding experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Current Illinois Real Estate License

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferably in business administration, hospitality, real estate, or a related field
- Eight or more years of related management experience
- Financial experience including P&L responsibility, budget oversight, cost analysis, and management of contracts and arrears
- Construction and major contract bidding experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Yardi experience preferred
- Current Illinois Real Estate License
- Passion for working with people and leading with a hospitality mindset
- High emotional intelligence and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience leading a multi-layered team
- Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills
- Professional composure at all times
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Ability to perform indoor work 95% of the time and outdoor work 5% of the time

Job Duties
- Train, mentor, and continuously develop all property personnel to provide best-in-class hospitality
- Apply hospitality hiring practices to identify and hire individuals with a people-centric approach
- Lead a cross-functional team including third-party service providers in delivering Hines’ Hospitality Standards
- Coordinate unique event programming emphasizing a community atmosphere
- Ensure property engagement and service offerings align with Hines’ service level standards
- Manage all fiscal activities of the property and maintain full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility
- Negotiate contracts and supervise contractor services related to property operations
- Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies for current and prospective tenants
- Collaborate with asset managers or owners to meet performance objectives
- Display in-depth knowledge of building mechanical systems and collaborate with Chief Engineer on engineering initiatives
- Ensure property maintenance and aesthetic appeal
- Ensure compliance with government, industry, regional, and company policies
- Provide support to development groups including owner relations and quality control during construction
- Represent Hines in selected business, community, and industry organizations
- Direct all emergency procedures including planning, drills, equipment monitoring, and response actions
- Act as fire/life safety director and assist emergency authorities as required
