The role available is for a Restaurant R'evolution Manager responsible for managing all aspects of service within the restaurant. This position ensures compliance with established service standards and operational procedures while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations concerning health, safety, and other compliance requirements. The Restaurant R'evolution Manager leads the team, including Front of House managers and the Chef de Cuisine, to focus on delivering a fine dining experience. Key responsibilities include supervising day-to-day activities, planning, organizing work, and enforcing policies to maintain high standards. The role requires ensuring prompt and efficient service across meals, functions, and beverage service while training staff to follow SOPs and company standards. Maintaining hygiene standards and a safe environment is paramount, alongside managing guest relations to turn dissatisfied guests into loyal return customers.
Additionally, the manager plays a critical part in controlling budgets, labor costs, and maximizing profitability. They oversee the security and proper storage of inventory and equipment, ensure all restaurant facilities and equipment are well-maintained, and attend food and beverage meetings as required. The role also involves managing administrative duties related to financial and payroll reporting. The manager supports the Wine Director by overseeing the Wine Cellar and leads operations of the Bar R'evolution beverage program and inventories. Holding a ServSafe certification is necessary, and the position focuses on employee development through feedback, performance expectations, and reviews.
This position is ideally suited for someone with a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or with equivalent experience including management or general manager experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industry. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, among others.
