Job Description
Dos Dos is a vibrant, hospitality-driven restaurant that draws inspiration from the rich and diverse flavors of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. Known for its scratch-kitchen approach, Dos Dos proudly serves an array of authentic tacos, burritos, and bowls, crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant fosters a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere where every guest is greeted warmly and made to feel genuinely welcomed from the moment they step inside. At Dos Dos, there is a strong emphasis on creating exceptional dining experiences through genuine warmth, teamwork, and consistent service. The team culture is centered on supporting one another, ensuring a cohesive environment where every member takes pride in delivering memorable service every shift. If you are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a lively setting dedicated to excellence, you will find Dos Dos to be a perfect fit for your career aspirations.
The role available at Dos Dos is a pivotal leadership position focused on managing all Front of House (FOH) operations during shifts. As the FOH leader, you will oversee the service flow, pacing, guest recovery, and ensure that comps and voids are handled within established guidelines. You will play a crucial role in coaching and supporting the team, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff, providing real-time guidance and motivation. Responsibilities also include running pre-shift briefings, ensuring effective execution of shift plans such as section assignments, breaks, sidework, and maintenance of cleanliness standards. Handling guest issues with professionalism and confidence is essential, along with maintaining clear communication with the Assistant General Manager (AGM) regarding staff performance, maintenance needs, guest feedback, and inventory. Financial responsibilities such as accurate cash handling and end-of-night processes will also fall within your remit.
This leadership role requires a strong presence on the floor, with the ability to direct pace, manage priorities, and guide people efficiently. Candidates should bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in restaurant leadership roles such as AGM, shift lead, key holder, or lead server/trainer. Excellent communication skills, good judgment, and professionalism are paramount to succeed in this fast-paced environment. This position offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience, complemented by significant benefits such as partially paid health, dental, and vision insurance, immediate access to a 401(k) plan, and performance-based quarterly bonuses. Additional perks include free meals during work shifts, generous discounts across all Elan Group restaurant locations, and a positive, team-driven culture that values growth and development. Availability for nights and weekends is essential, reflecting the peak shifts of a bustling restaurant. Overall, this is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional looking to advance their leadership career within a supportive and high-energy environment.
