Job Description

The opportunity is with a distinguished luxury hospitality group operating within the Southeast United States, presenting a coveted relocation opportunity for the right candidate. This group is known for its unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled guest experiences through refined service and innovative hospitality concepts. As a leader in the upscale hospitality industry, the company prides itself on creating extraordinary environments where guests feel a genuine sense of belonging and exclusivity. Known for its portfolio of high-end properties and venues, the group emphasizes a member-style, relationship-driven service philosophy that transcends traditional hospitality to foster lasting connections and memorable experiences for clientele.

The role available is that of a General Manager for a private, cocktail-driven concept situated within an upscale hotel environment. This role is distinct from traditional restaurant management positions as it requires a seasoned leader who is passionate about crafting immersive experiences rather than simply overseeing daily operations. The General Manager will be instrumental in shaping an atmosphere that blends sophistication with intimacy, ensuring each interaction goes beyond transactional service to create a personalized and consistent luxury experience for all guests and members. This position offers a competitive compensation package comprising a $90,000 base salary, supplemented by a 10 percent annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, underscoring the value placed on attracting top talent.

In this role, the General Manager will be the face of the venue, maintaining a visible and hands-on leadership style that exemplifies the highest standards of hospitality. Responsibilities include cultivating a warm, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visitation through meaningful guest relationships, and overseeing the seamless operation of a cocktail-forward, high-touch service setting. The manager will lead and develop a team of approximately 30 service professionals, instilling a culture of excellence and accountability. Efficient management of labor, scheduling, and cost controls will be critical in maintaining operational discipline aligned with elevated service standards.

Additionally, the General Manager will be accountable for the financial performance of the venue, managing the profit and loss statements to balance impeccable guest experiences with operational efficiency. This includes supporting programming initiatives, special events, and seasonal activations designed to keep the concept vibrant and appealing throughout the year. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role in recruiting and mentoring team members, fostering a service-driven culture that prioritizes personalized attention and emotional intelligence. An ideal leader for this position possesses polished professionalism paired with authenticity and approachability, coupled with strong guest awareness and a hands-on approach to management with attention to detail.

Candidates with backgrounds in luxury hotel outlets, private clubs, or high-end standalone concepts that prioritize cocktail-forward or experiential environments will find this role particularly suited to their expertise. The company seeks hospitality-first leaders experienced in structured service cultures such as Forbes-level or boutique luxury settings, who demonstrate strong financial acumen and operational discipline. Candidates who prefer transactional or checklist-style management, operate primarily from an office setting, or utilize rigid corporate leadership styles are unlikely to succeed in this dynamic, guest-centric environment. This unique opportunity is built for a leader eager to make a tangible impact by creating cohesive, elevated experiences that leave a lasting impression on discerning clientele.
