Job Description
We are partnering with a luxury hospitality group to identify a General Manager for a private, high-touch cocktail-driven concept within an upscale hotel environment. This luxury hospitality group is known for delivering exceptional guest experiences in upscale settings where personalized service and attention to detail set them apart. They operate within exclusive environments catering to discerning clientele seeking not only high-quality service but also an immersive and relationship-focused atmosphere.
This opportunity is unlike a traditional restaurant role. It is designed for a leader who understands the importance of creating an experience rather than merely managing daily operations. The role requires a hands-on, emotionally intelligent leader who thrives in a relationship-driven, member-style environment where consistency, personalization, and presence are paramount. The General Manager will lead a team to provide elevated service standards beyond transactional interactions, ensuring every guest feels a strong sense of belonging and personalized connection.
The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a $90,000 base salary, a 10% annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. It emphasizes leadership presence, operational excellence, and financial performance stewardship. This leader will be responsible for maintaining discipline around labor, scheduling, and cost controls, overseeing the daily operations of a cocktail-forward, high-touch environment, and building a strong service-driven culture among approximately 30 team members.
The ideal candidate is a polished and professional leader with strong guest awareness and the ability to build meaningful relationships that drive repeat visitation. They will maintain a visible and hands-on presence during service, balancing guest experience with financial results. The role involves supporting programming, events, and seasonal activations, as well as recruiting, training, and mentoring team members in real time to foster an accountable and motivated team. This leadership role demands both a strategic and tactical mindset, where the General Manager is actively engaged in service delivery and operational decisions.
Candidates should come from luxury hotel outlets, private club environments, or high-end standalone concepts with a background in cocktail-forward or experiential hospitality. A strong financial and operational acumen is essential, along with experience within structured service cultures typical of boutique luxury or Forbes-level establishments. This position is best suited for those who eschew transactional or checklist-style management, prefer active floor engagement over office-only leadership, and maintain high operational and financial discipline.
Overall, this General Manager role offers a unique opportunity to lead a sophisticated hospitality concept focused on delivering unforgettable guest experiences within a luxurious hotel setting in the Southeast U.S., with relocation opportunities available. The successful candidate will find ample opportunities for professional growth and will work within a culture that values authenticity, emotional intelligence, and real-time leadership presence.
