Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age
  • proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in food and beverage required
  • 3 years of experience in leading and mentoring a team of management and non-management personnel
  • must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration, Non-Gaming registration, Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM), and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form
  • strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
  • must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • five years of experience in food and beverage
  • three years of experience in leading and mentoring a team of management and non-management personnel
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form
  • strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience

Job Duties

  • Assist in the implementation of financial objectives relating to beverage, cabana sales, and rentals
  • ensure that the cleanliness of the pool deck is maintained at all times
  • ensure good safety practices of employees and guests on all pool decks, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and safety procedures
  • assist in conducting safety training and ensuring that certification is current with state law
  • hire, train, and evaluate team members to meet departmental standards and goals
  • maintain high quality standards in regard to food and beverage presentation, sanitation, and pool safety
  • manage the seasonal team members including bartenders, cocktail servers, pool attendants, PRD attendants, lifeguards, cabana hosts, liquor runners, bar porters, and PAD specialists
