We are currently seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead our operations in this prestigious fine dining setting. This full-time position offers a competitive $100,000 base salary, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure, reflecting our dedication to rewarding leadership that drives success. As General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our front-of-house operations, responsible for orchestrating an outstanding hospitality experience that aligns with our luxury brand values. Your role will encompass leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team to deliver consistent service excellence in an environment where attention to detail and personalized guest interactions are paramount. In partnership with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership, you will ensure the seamless execution of every dining experience from start to finish.

Your leadership will extend to the financial performance of the restaurant, where you will manage labor costs, oversee budgeting processes, and implement strategies to optimize revenue while maintaining impeccable service standards. A key part of your responsibilities includes maintaining rigorous standards in food quality, cleanliness, and compliance, ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience reflects our commitment to world-class hospitality. You will also play a significant role in building and sustaining relationships with VIP guests and local community partners, enhancing the restaurant's reputation and reach within Detroit's luxury hospitality market.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
  • Proven track record of managing restaurant operations and delivering guest satisfaction
  • Strong financial management skills including budgeting and P&L oversight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in staff recruitment, training, and development
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of General Manager or senior leadership experience in fine dining, upscale dining, luxury hospitality, or chef-driven concepts
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, labor controls, and budgeting
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on management style with a passion for hospitality and team development
  • Experience with wine programs, elevated service standards, and luxury guest expectations is highly preferred
