Job Description

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a vibrant and rapidly expanding multi-brand restaurant operator with a rich history dating back to 2012. Initially starting as a 30-unit Taco Bell franchise, the company has experienced impressive growth, now managing over 240 units across multiple states, including Taco Bell and Arby's locations. Employing more than 6,000 dedicated team members, DRG prides itself on fostering a close-knit company culture that values respect, integrity, passion, accountability, commitment, and teamwork. This strong foundation has enabled DRG to sustain exceptional operational standards and provide top-tier customer experiences throughout their restaurants.

At DRG, employees are at the heart of the organization. The company offers a comprehensive range of benefits and support programs designed to promote employee well-being and professional growth. Among these are the DRG Cares Grant Program, which provides assistance to employees facing financial challenges, a Savings Marketplace granting access to exclusive discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, educational opportunities such as GED reimbursement and second language education, and a Live Mas Scholarship Program aimed at encouraging higher education. Additionally, the Employee Referral Program and DailyPay option further demonstrate DRG's commitment to its workforce's success and convenience.

The General Manager role at DRG is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure strong financial performance and an exceptional guest experience. This role calls for a dynamic leader who can train and develop a high-performing team, streamline recruitment processes, guide operational initiatives, and maintain high standards in food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. Beyond operational stewardship, the General Manager acts as a vital link between restaurant staff and field leadership, promoting clear communication and reinforcing the company’s core values and culture within each location.

This position offers hourly compensation ranging from $18.50 to $24.00, commensurate with the candidate's experience and availability. The General Manager works approximately 50 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands require. Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of restaurant experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and candidates must be able to obtain and pass ServSafe Certification along with holding a valid health card per local requirements.

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to build and develop a team of future leaders, achieve operational excellence, and maintain robust financial results. The General Manager must exhibit strong accountability and decision-making skills while fostering a positive, supportive environment that recognizes individual team members' contributions. As DRG continues its aggressive expansion, this role is ideal for an ambitious leader eager to advance their career within a fast-growing and respected restaurant group.
